When I was first looking at Venues, I kept coming back to Thistlewood Manor. They did almost everything in-house and it was lovely. The Manor itself is gorgeous: the detail that they have put into the manor and gardens is phenomenal. Seeing it online did not do the grounds justice. It felt like I was married in a Jane Austen novel. Tricia, who is the owner and the chef, is a pleasure to work with and was able to meet a lot of the accommodations that I needed. Leslie, the coordinator, florist, and all around wonder woman, was a pleasure to work with and helped to make sure that everything that we needed for the wedding (from the most minute detail to the biggest detail) was the best and juggling everything, answering my emails and keeping everything under control. The wedding went smoothly and the best part that I was able to ENJOY it. I don’t know if a lot of brides can say that but I can, and my friends and family did, too. I wouldn’t change anything about my wedding and that was in large part because of Thistlewood. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thank you, Leslie, Tricia, and team for making my dream a reality and my wedding one of the best days of my life.
