Our Story
For Ginny Tipton, hospitality has always been about more than serving a beautiful meal or hosting a memorable event—it's about making people feel welcomed, celebrated, and cared for.
Her passion for serving others began long before Thistlewood. While raising her children and working full-time, Ginny continued to grow professionally, eventually opening a successful catering company in Hutto in 2011. Over the years, she built more than two decades of experience in catering, culinary arts, customer service, and event management, learning firsthand that the smallest details often create the most meaningful experiences.
In 2022, Ginny purchased Thistlewood Manor & Gardens, a venue established in 2014 with a reputation for elegant events and exceptional service. She saw an opportunity to build upon that foundation while bringing her own vision, experience, and heart for hospitality to every celebration hosted on the property.
Today, Ginny offers her clients far more than a beautiful venue. Her years in the event industry allow her to anticipate needs, solve challenges before they arise, and guide couples, families, and organizations through the planning process with confidence.
