Delicious food is a highlight of any great event. Next to the Bride and Groom, it is generally the most remembered element by your guests. Prepared fresh on-site from scratch and served immediately to you and your guests, our menus are delightful and customizable to fit your style.
Whether you are dreaming of an intimate romantic event or an Extravagant luxury affair, we work with you one-on-one, listening to your desires and understanding your budget to create the dream wedding that is uniquely yours.

While we may not go with you to pick out your dress, we are definitely much more than just “day-of.” Wedding Management means we help you with your menu, design, linens, timeline, setup, and much, much more.
Designed to simplify and make the planning process easy and enjoyable for you, Thistlewood’s Simple Elegance Package is Extraordinary, convenient, and customizable for your style and budget. Our pricing is simple. While there are plenty of options, there are no added fees or service charges.
The few things we do not do onsite, we do have some great recommendations for you. We work as a team with some great florists, musicians/DJs, cake/dessert bakers, and photographers to make sure your day is amazing.
To top it all off, you will enjoy some freshly baked muffins, fruit, and mimosas for you and your girls while getting ready in our gorgeous bride’s suite. Remember, you have the venue all day!! (10Am-midnight)
So… what is your style? We begin with a basic Simple Elegance Plan, and then you add on the options you want…keep it simple or make it Extravagant.
Simple Elegance
Once you have selected your day for the venue, you start here to build your Customized Package. It’s the basics of our inclusive services. Then, just add your unique style. With so many of the details taken care of in-house, this is an excellent value to get you started. Including:
- Onsite Venue Management
- Complete Setup – tables, chairs, for ceremony for reception
- Yes, we will do all the cleanup for you, too.
- Staff for either buffet or family-style
- White china dinnerware, elegant flatware, and glassware, including cake plates, forks, & coffee cups
- Tea and coffee, all freshly brewed
- Floor-length black or ivory poly linens with cloth napkins, with standard fold
- Access to our inventory of decor items: votives, mini chandeliers, lanterns, candelabras, antique silver pieces, vases, etc.
- Plus, our Complimentary Services, with a full package:
- Meals for up to 5 of your wedding professionals, i.e., photographer, DJ, etc.
- Cake Cutting Service, with utensils and white cake plates and forks
- Fruit, muffins, and mimosas or juice for the bride’s room
- Beer or soda for groom and attendants, up to 10
- Complimentary Champagne, wine, or Sprite for the Bride & Groom toast (2-4 glasses)

You have lots of options for the perfect menu for your event. Select from Menu Tiers 1, 2, and 3 plus various serving styles, from plated to cocktail style or stations, and more.
Looking for even more options – perhaps more Extravagant?
We can help you! Perhaps you want more help with your, color or specialty linens, or champagne toast for your whole party. Maybe you would like us to take care of even more details – purchasing supplies, such as candles or sparklers. We can even go over your other contracts with you if you like. These are just a few options. Serving you is our passion.
And if you are looking for more Extravagance, we can help there, too. Teaming up with our favorite florists, our decor closet, and linen options, your choices are pretty much unlimited.
Bar Service Packages
Thistlewood Manor is fully licensed to sell and serve alcohol for your convenience. Open Bar packages include bartender, setups, glassware, and alcohol, providing another great value to your overall spending plan. Our full bar services give couples the option to create a customized menu with their own unique bride and groom signature drinks. Outside, alcohol is not allowed to be brought on the premises by State Law.

We are happy to give you a quote based on your details. Generally, an average wedding here ranges from $12,000 to $25,000, including venue, dinner, basic decor, and bar, depending on your number of guests and your style/budget. We can also help you find the perfect florist, music, and photography.
DIY (Do It Yourself) or à la carte
Our Packages represent tremendous value, but sometimes a bride and groom just want a few of our services to go along with their other plans, especially in a particularly cultural menu, so virtually every service is available à la carte. The Basics of our plan generally work well for this.
Should you choose to use an outside caterer there is a kitchen staging fee. If you prefer to do much of the planning/decorating yourself, you may choose to just use the Simple Elegance Basics or pick and choose what you want.
Choosing a DIY plan is not available for a Saturday in the Fall unless available and booked within 6 months of your event.
